While l was attending classes in New York, I was recommended to look into Academie Alexandre de Paris by Jennifer MacDougal. I decided to follow her advice and finally booked my Bridal Styling Workshop to discover and practice the secrets of French elegance.
The Academie is located in a very lovely Rue Vivienne at the second arrondissement in Paris, which is not too touristy and not as busy as other parts of this beautiful city. The school itself is very spacious and cozy, all styling products and all the pins are provided for use. All the staff is very welcoming and, since the classes are in French, they take their time translating, to make sure everybody gets everything out of it.
The love of hair and control of shape is the key of the perfect hairstyle. Romantic, slick chignons, decorated with elegant hair accessories and a simple veil, are very different from other schools styles. The first part of the class was the theory and demonstration on a model. The second was hands-on workshop, where each of the students got to have a live model and practice everything they’ve learned. I want to thank all the educators who shared their skills and knowledge with us and helped us to improve.
In 2010 the Academies teaching and education were awarded the distinction of “Best World Academy”. I am very proud to have been certified by Academie Alexandre de Paris and would highly recommend it to all the professionals who are as passionate in Bridal and Editorial Hairstyling as I am
